3 Years Fulltime (Affiliated to DCRUST Murthal)
BBA is a 3 years regular degree course Affiliated to DCRUST Murthal. The curriculum of the BBA is designed keeping in mind the basic objectives of job orientation by blending computer and management skills and imparting the analytical and problem solving abilities to the students. The course aims at serving the academic needs of the following student:
Those who intend to purchase higher studies for self employment
Those who intend to acquire Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration while pursuing studies for CA/CS/ICWA or other professional courses.
Further the program forms an ideal stepping stone for the young aspiring management professionals for a leap into the ever burdening competitive arena. Apart from covering the basic areas of management, the course equips the students with the latest job oriented subjects like computers in Management, Computer Programming C Language, Selling Skills, Banking and Insurance, Oracle, Multimedia Information Technology, Structured System Analysis & Design etc.
Career Spectrum
A Student pursuing BBA is eligible for both MBA and MCA. Our course includes 80% management and 20% computer. The computer knowledge given is sufficient to designate you as a effective manager. But at the same time BBA preferably will land you up an industry with managerial jobs, not in IT Sector, as that would require more than 70% knowledge about computers. But if a student pursues MCA after BBA, He/She will be always welcomed in IT sector. In nutshell, BBA is one foundation course for MBA and will scratch out an excellent manager out of you.
Eligibility Criteria
Admission to first semester of the programme shall be open to candidates who have passed
Senior Secondary Examination i.e. 10+2 with at least 40% marks (Pass marks in case of SC/ST) candidates) in aggregate from a recognized Board of Education or an equivalent examination .
